"Darkness in the Sun Government" (working title)
Kyrie is a normal girl- except for the murder of her father, the disappearance of her mother, the secret organization her uncle belongs too, and her exceptional abilities with deadly weapons, she's perfectly normal. Oh, and there's her equally deadly younger brother, Aaron. But he's so much like her, he must be normal too.
Okay, so maybe that's not exactly "normal"- but it's been normal for her for 4 years. And now things are about to get even stranger.
A strange new organization called "The Sun Government" has been coming across the radar at her uncle Timothy's secret group- and they appear to be planning some kind of government rebellion. Exactly what that entails has yet to be found out.
While trying to help her uncle and his odd supervisor Adrian figure out what's going on, Kyrie finds herself stuck in the middle of a current of suspense and confusion, and what she finds is not what she wanted to know.
"I Remembered Love."
Betsy has never known anything but the poor street life of a beggar. At least, she can't remember anything else. Her father used to tell her they had been better off at one time, but he never liked to go into details- and he carried them with him to the grave.
Betsy's life had grown as routine as could be expected- monotonous almost. But all that is about to change.
Beginning with a strange encounter with the wealthy daughter of a duke, a long line of coincidences and unexplainable events begin to happen to Betsy that many would call chance- but that she soon learns to call Providence.
From a poor widow to a long lost brother, a gang of thieves to a missing memory, this tale will strike deep and leave an impression that will not soon be forgotten.
"Mystery in the Amazon," (working title-it sounds too cliche to be the final title- any suggestions?)
Twenty years ago, a father left his only child in the arms of a stranger. The name of that father: Jessie James the Fourth.
Now, his daughter is a young woman, and is studying in college to be a nurse. But when she finds out the truth about her past, she leaves with her adopted brother to find her father in order to tell him
about Christ. The result: the adventure of a lifetime.
Things start out good, but all too quickly go from
bad to worse, and Annie wonders if she’ll even reach
her father before it’s too late. From encounters with a
rickety old bridge, a vicious gang, and a deadly snake,
this book will keep you on the edge of your seat to the
very end!
"Thorns of Love"
"Just for the summer, Elizabeth. You must get away from this filthy city for the summer." So said Elizabeth's mother before she sent her packing to her aunt's home out West. It started out fine, but her older cousin, Anabelle, just keeps making things worse- and her mischievous younger brothers don't help.
Her only consolation comes from the Friend she knows will never leave her- the Lord, her Heavenly Father- her cousin, Katie, and her new friend Annie.
But when her mother doesn't send word for her to return at the end of the summer, Elizabeth starts to worry. And soon she has other things to worry about- why has Annabelle's dislike to her escalated to hate? And what about the poor sick girl, Wilhelmina? Will she ever get a chance to tell her about Christ?
"Enemy in the Mist"
Evera's heart pounded inside her chest as a bony hand grabbed her shoulder. She opened her mouth to scream, but a hand was roughly placed over it. Out of the corner of her eye she saw a flash of gray cloth. With sudden fear, she realized that she was in the grasp of the mysterious man in gray, and that there was no escape.
Meet Evera Jemima Chenoweth. She's grown up a country girl, and loves nothing more than to roam the woods, hiking and fishing, with her twin brother, Willie.
But when her father's college friends arrives out of nowhere, he brings with him trouble and mystery- and secrets from the past that might have been better left buried.
As the twins try to solve the puzzle surrounding the strange man, they run into one question after another, and they're not sure they want the answers they find.
"Sword of Hope" (another working title- it may or may not remain)
Sir Algernon Ashenburl is up to his neck in mystery and confusion- and will soon be over his head if he can't figure things out. The disappearance of the royal family, a long forgotten prophecy concerning a supposedly magical sword from ages past, the strange appearance of a twin boy and girl with remarkable fighting skill, and the revelation of creatures once believed mystical all seem to be working together to muddle his brain. And even if he and the twins can accomplish their seemingly impossible mission, there's still the evil Lord Valron too deal with... why hasn't he come out of hiding yet again? And what is to be done with the young brother and sister who have joined their entourage? Surely they cannot come along on such a dangerous journey...
Join this unique ensemble as the discover anew God's tender love and mercy, and how He will always work things- even the evil things- in our lives for our good and His glory!
I think that's everything I'm serious about finishing (although not seriously right now
)
Any comments or suggestions would be more than welcome! Thanks!
