You know you're a crazy writer when you try the most dangerous writing game with a book idea and you make if fifteen minutes into an awesome book and then it deletes it. Seriously, that app is deadly! Try it my fellow writers. *rubs hands evilly and imagines the frustrated look on your faces when your chapter gets deleted for the fourth time* I also started one MDWG page where all I knew was that someone was yelling Jess, and I ended up with the first chapter to a book where a teenager named Jess and her mom who has bad feeling when something wrong is going to happen find our that their brother and son, Carter, who was coming home from the Indies where he just finished service in the Navy, was killed. Or was he? *mysterious eyebrow wiggle*

HA HA!!! I will try that app yet. You know you're a writer when you can't decide whether to get rid of all the decorations in your room except books or to just break down and put a few (more) books in storage. *sigh*

You know you're a writer when you write and say this conversation with yourself out loud at the same time.
"Should you write her as wearing headbands?" "It depends on her hair." "Well decide on her hair." "I can't until I have a clear picture of her in my head." "You're an odd one." "Well then we make a good pair."

Oh boy, that sounds like me talking to myself. And what app is that? I've never hear of it.
And YES, Corissa! Books or decorations. Or just more and more and more books...

It's called The Most Dangerous Writing App. You choose how long you want to write and you start. If you stop writing for more than five seconds, it deletes all your work. That's why it's dangerous; you could lose EVERYTHING!

It DELETES everything!!! *shudders* I don't know if I could do that... Though now I want to try.

You know you're a writer when you tell yourself to bear the pain of five bug bites so you can write about it. Pain, mind you, not itching, PAIN! My bug bites swell and hurt like crazy.
You know you're a writer when after your friend tells you that Yellow Jackets actually release a little venom into you your first thought is, "How can I use this in a book? Maybe some evil guy creating super deadly venomous killer bees or some such ridiculous but usable idea?"
You know you're a writer when you got a new notebook but you don't want to write anything in it because you don't want to ruin the perfect pages.

'super deadly venomous killer bees...' yep. Tracker Jackers in the Hunger Games. Though I'm sure the idea could be used again in a different way.

I haven't read or seen the Hunger Games yet, though I want to read them this fall. Though I already know if she ends up with Gale or Peeta because everyone who read or saw them was talking about it so much. And it looks like I'm gonna cry when I see them because my cousin's cousin said he cried in the movie theatre and he's a fifteen year old boy! That definitely means I will be shedding at least a few tears.

You know you're a writer when your friend comes over for a visit, and after viewing your two bookshelves literally overflowing with books and the two stacks of books on either side of the your mirror, she asks, "Where are all your books?" After pointing out the great quantity visible and adding that there are two more boxes under your bed, she replies, "I guess I expected your room to be more like a library." One day, one day.

You know you're a crazy writer when you notice it's really hot outside and the first thing you do is go see how long you can stand on the burning bricks in your bare feet so you can feel what it would be like to walk in a desert.

That can actually be really fun, Anne; you should do it again sometime and have a bowl of cold water ready to stick your feet in. It literally feels like your skin is shrinking around your bones. Awesome, incredibly strange, and just a tiny bit painful. (I just did it today. There are a million ways to describe it! ) You know you're a writer when you find your baby dolls from when you were younger, one dressed as a princess and one as a pauper, and immediately decide they were somehow switched at birth. Then your brain goes crazy with all kinds of ideas for the whys and hows and before you know it you've practically got a whole book ready... if only you had the time to write it. *sigh*

You know you're a writer when the ending of your book is ripping your heart out and stomping on it and all you can think about (between sobs) is how much you can't wait to revisit all the heartbreaking characters in the sequel

You know you're a writer when you notice that touching a recently burning lighter kind of hurts your finger, so you do it again to know what repeated torture is like.

Or when you're trying to burn a wart off your finger and it hurts, but you grit your teeth and tell yourself it's good writing research in case any of your characters are tortured with fire.
