Hello everyone! I saw a suggestion in Action to start a thread where the first person asks a question and the next person answers them and asks a different question, and so on. It sounded like fun, so here goes nothing! Also, I don't think it's fair to ask a question you can't answer, so I would like to suggest that you answer your own question as well. One more thing- once there is more than one question on here, feel free to answer more than one of them if you like! Make sure you answer the last one asked, but answer previous ones if you like as well! First Question: If you could pick any animal to have as a pet (including mystical/extinct animals) what would it be? My answer: An emerald green dragon, with green-blue eyes and silver talons- and she would be big enough to ride.

I love the idea of having a griffin as a pet! Grey and red flecked feathers, and I would name him Airwayn. But if I stuck with real animals it would be a baby hedgehog. My Question: Have any of you read the Kingdom Series and Knights of Arrethtrae series by Chuck Black? Christian Fantasy, one of the best book ever! If you have what are your favorites from each series? Mine are Kingdom's Reign from the Kingdom series and Lady Carliss and the Waters of Moorue in the Knights series.

Yes, I have. My favorites would be Kingdom's Hope and Sir Quinlan. What is your favorite flower(s) and why? My favorite flower would have to be the rose- it's so beautiful and delicate, and it also can be used in a lot of dramatic names. A close second would be the daisy, mainly because I love white- although I've seen it in other colors which are really pretty too. If I were choosing for fragrance though, I'd have to pick lilac and honeysuckle.

My favourite flower is the zinnia-- just because it's so pretty. I also like pansies, snapdragons, and so many more! What is your weapon of choice? I think I would go for a sword, though archery also interests me.

Definitely the bow and arrow, but the sword would be a close second. What is your favorite Christian fiction book? This is hard, but I would probably have to go with "The Lost Clue," by Mrs. O. F. Walton. I also like "The White Gypsy," "The Lamplighter," and "House of Love."

How can you ask that; there are so many books. Does Allegorical Fiction count? Probably not, so that narrows it down. I really like Lysbeth by H. Rider Haggard...and Pearl Maiden by the same author.
On the topic of books, what are you reading right now? Among many other things, I'm reading Dreamlander. A bit confusing because there are so many names, but still really good so far. It reminds me of Dreamtreaders for adults.

I can ask that because I know that hardly anyone will be able to give a single answer and it gives me a list of new books to look into. Right now I'm reading the book of Daniel in the Bible- I have to read it through 10 times for a theology college course I'm taking. I'm also reading "Return of the King" aloud to my mother and brothers (one of them is about 17 months old and sleeps through most of it- the other one is 14 and loves it ). It has been so much fun to do all the voices! Gollum is definitely the hardest- Sam is probably my favorite voice to do. I base most of my voices off of the movie, and I love Sam's accent. What are you planning on doing for St. Patrick's Day next week? Do you have any traditions? We don't have any traditions, but this year we are going to see a "Mary Poppins" play at Bethel College with some friends- and then out to eat afterwards, probably at Culver's.

Well, you know what I'm doing. I'm going with you to the play! But other than that, we are having green eggs and ham, (Dr. Suess anyone?) and green cinnamon rolls for breakfast on Wednesday, since my brother and I will be gone Thursday morning. What is your favorite word, and what is your favorite word to say. Yes there is a difference. My favorite word is either pallid or cascade, but I like to say the word, paranphanelia. I doubt that's spelled right. I have a lot of shiny paranphanelia.

How can you ask me to choose a favorite word from hundreds of thousands?! Well, it would probably be either "reading" or "writing." My favorite word to say... how about Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! What is your favorite name for an animal, either real or mystical? The current name of our fish, Strider Legolas Nemo Francisco Vasquez de Coronado Mr. Finny the III. But you can call him Strider.

My favorite name for a Gold Fish would be Squishy the Invisible Nazi Killer from Quebec, (long story behind that name-don't ask). But I also like the name Airwayn for a griffin.
What is your favorite music to listen to? I like the sound track from Beyond the Mask, and anything by Emily Black.

I love the Thor soundtrack, though there is quite a bit of other music I love, like the Lord of the Rings and Chronicles of Narnia soundtracks.
Are you planning on learning anything this summer? I'm hoping to learn archery.

We are all learning Spanish, I hope to learn how to wire wrap stones from books I get at the library and I'd like to practice more with my brother's bow and arrows.
What is your favorite place you've gone on vacation? For me it's either Silver Dollar City in Missouri, or Walt Disney World in Florida.

Either Scotland or Mackinac Island- both were an absolute blast! If I had to choose one to go back to though, it would probably be Mackinac- it is so much fun to bike everywhere! If you could choose any language to just know, without any work, what would it be? French- I would really like to travel in Europe someday! Alas, I am doomed to the same fate as Anne- Spanish for the Summer.

I would learn either French or Latin. Latin is almost extinct, yes, but just think if some of us learned it then we could really talk to each other in a secret language! Even if you speak French or Spanish there are still common people who speak those languages and who could hear you. And you never know which one could be a spy... Honest opinion, what character do you think you are most like in the Chronicles of Narnia series. It has to be one of the humans from our world, Digory, Polly, Peter, Susan, Edmund, Lucy Eustace, or Jill. And even though you are a girl, you can still be most like a boy. I would probably say Peter for me. I'm not really like any of the girls. I'm trying to figure out if that's good or not.

Ooh, that's a hard one. I think that I would be the most like Lucy as she is portrayed in the "Voyage of the Dawn Treader," book or movie. She's a little more adventurous and involved in that one, but still slightly laid back. If it wasn't Lucy, I think it would be Edmund. Okay, since we're talking about our similarities to book characters, let's ask the same question but with Lord of the Rings instead of Narnia. I think that I would be the most like either Legolas or Samwise. I love to be active like Legolas (although I can't perform as many flourishes ) and I share his love of the forest and all living things. However, I'm also fiercly loyal like Samwise, and I enjoy working in the kitchen.
